April Fools!!!

Now doesn't that look yummy! But it's not what you think it is...

I LOVE April Fools day! (As long as I'm not fool) I love the idea of playing jokes on someone and the excitement and fun when they realize they've been played. The picture above is what I made for dinner. It looks like a cupcake and juice, but it's really meatloaf in cupcake wrappers and mashed potatoes colored with blue dye for the iceing. And then the juice? It's jello.

The little girl is Michael's friend Kaitlyn. We were watching her for a while today so we included her in on the fun. She was more expressive about her confusion than Michael was, but Nathan wasn't able to capture both her and Michael.

I also got Nathan this morning. You might remember THIS post from last year about our computer. We've been continually having the problem of our computer shutting down on us randomly and it was extremely upsetting to Nathan. Finally we figured out the problem and Nathan fixed it (It needed an extra fan). He fixed it on Monday and it's been running wonderfully since then. So I decided that I would call him at work this afternoon and tell him that it shut down and he hadn't succeeded in fixing it. He actually took it really well. He was listing a bunch of reasons of why it still wasn't working and was just very calm. I was a bit bummed becuase I was expecting him to get all mad and worked up. So after he gave me his list I just said, "or it could be that it's April Fools Day and I'm just kidding." It was GREAT! He was completely shocked and a bit annoyed at me! It was wonderful!
