Xander finally rolled over today! I was so excited for him! Of course, I didn't actually get to see it, but it was still exciting.
I was starting to get a bit worried that Xander wasn't rolling, so I put him on his stomach while I was doing the dishes. He was starting to get cranky and was kinda bobbing back and forth on his tummy with his arms by his side. So I went over and put his arms up by his head so he could support himself and went back to doing the dishes. A few minutes later I look down at him and HE WAS ON HIS BACK!! My first thought was, "where's Michael!" I was wondering if he had rolled him over quickly without me seeing him, but he was in the other room and Nathan was at work, so I knew that Xander had done it himself. I was so excited for him!
And then while I was putting Xander into his p.j.'s he discovered how to grab his feet! I LOVE it when babies start eating their feet, so I know that's coming soon too. I just love this part of having a baby! They get to be so fun and really start playing and laughing. It definitly has it's hard moments when I wonder what the heck I was thinking wanting to be a mother, but the good times really outway the bad.
