Ahhh, I am so glad that obstacle is over!!!!
It was a very tough 5 weeks, but we are finally in the place across the street that we wanted! I am just so glad that everything was able to work out and we are moved in. We actually were able to start moving in late Tuesday night, March 3 and we had most everything out of the old apartment by 10:00 on Wednesday morning. Wednesday was supposed to be our last day in teh apartment, but we were lucky the manager wasn't in her office hardly at all the week of the move and we were able to get an extened day of cleaning, and we were done with Rexburg Plaza on Thursday afternoon!! It is so nice to be out of that place! I do miss it, and I miss the socialization aspects of the complex and the friends I have there, but I certainly don't miss the management!!!! And it's nice being right across the street and in the same wards as my friends, so it's not too bad, I just miss the ease of knowing when people are outside and ready to play.
So now we just have the obstacle of finding a place for our stuff! The hardest thing is figuring out where to put our kitchen stuff. The kitchen is quite a bit smaller than our old one (a fact I didn't know was possible!) so it's a bit of a struggle to make it all fit, but we'll figure it out.
In a few years, when I get everything organized and looking good, I'll take some pictures and let you know how nice this place is. We really do enjoy it and it feels more like a home! Michael especially LOVES the stairs and his walk-in closet!! He spends equal amounts of time playing with both. But he does get into trouble with the stairs frequently. One day Nathan walked by right when Michael was about to sit down on a big saucer-type lid with the intention of sliding down the stairs. Nathan allowed him to try it for a few steps but Michael quickly realized that it can actually be quite painful! It didn't take long for him to stand up and forget that idea. So now he just throws his toys and stuffed animals down the stairs instead.
Also, these places have hook-ups for washers and dryers and our parents were wonderful enough to help us out with those for our birthdays!!! Oh, it's soooo nice to have washers and dryers!!!! It's almost wierd! I keep looking for the quarters before I start a new load and then remember I don't need them!!!!
Anyway, I think that's about all I wanted to say about our new place. It's just so nice to be here and to finally start settling in!

I am so excited for you guys! Those apartments are so nice! I hope that you find a place for everything! That seems to be the hardest part of all for moving!
Sounds nice! I'm so jealous that you have a washer & dryer :)
Yah, I'm a little jealous that you have a washer and dryer. That has to be the best thing about getting out of subsidized housing!! But you can tell your parents that my birthday is just around the corner in case they want to buy someone else a washer/dryer. I'm sure I can find somewhere to store it:) What nice parents to help with those for you guys!! I'm glad you're finally moved in to where you want to be also.
