For breakfast, we had cinnamon rolls that were soo yummy and then we just played and packed some more boxes. While he took his nap, I decorated the kitchen and blew up 25 balloons for him to play with. It was fun decorating but I had no idea how time consuming it could be! I'd never decorated for a birthday before so it was my first time today, but it was still fun. I was pretty proud of it, however silly it might look!
I blew up these balloons (25 total!) thinking Michael would love to play with them. And he did love them, but it didn't take long to realize they could pop!!! So now we only have about 10 balloons left, but he was loving himself!
After dinner we took a walk and we let Michael pedal his trike around the complex and the streets. Then we came home and let him open his presents. He was SOO excited to see what was in them! He had tried 3 times to open them without us knowing, so he was overjoyed to finally get a look!
Here he is just after blowing out the candles:
He was so proud of himself!!
In hindsight, I should have done the video for this part because he blew out all the candles before I could even press the button to take the picture. We even let him blow them out twice in hopes I could get a picture, but he was too good!! He blew all 3 out in just one breath.

Happy Birthday! He looks so grown up with his cute haircut.
Happy Birthday, Michael! The time sure goes by fast! Good luck packing and moving! Also I know of a pretty cheap (free) photographer who love to take pics for you if you decide that you want more! (Moms can never have enough pics of their kids, right? )Just email me!
Wow I can't believe Michael is already 3! I remember when he was scooting (not crawling) around our preschool classroom.
