Sleepy, Sleepy, Sleepy Time...

These are just some pictures of positions I have found Michael in after he's fallen asleep. The last few weeks have been pretty interesting. I think he may be getting to the point/age that he may not need a nap anymore. (I am fully resisting this moment, but I know it will come eventually). The last few weeks, as soon as I close the door and leave him in his bed alone, all I hear is jabbering, jabbering, and more jabbering. At times it has gone on for about 30 minutes until he finally falls asleep! It's pretty funny to me and not something I generally mind. I know he'll fall asleep eventually, it will just take longer than usual.

This first picture was from the first night that he INSISTED on wearing his hat to bed!! He did this every night for about a week!!! Even if I hid the hat before putting him into bed, he still knew that he needed it and would whine and cry until I gave it to him! Pretty silly.

With this picture, I tried but failed to show that he still had the pin/magnetic thing still in his hand. This was another thing he INSISTED on having before going to bed/nap for about a week! He just enjoyed having some time to doodle a bit before falling asleep.

And then this next picture is pretty self explanitory and probably the funniest one to me. As far as I know, he stayed like this his WHOLE NAP!!
We have found him in some other positions that have been pretty hilarious, but in the time it takes to find the camera and then sneak back quietly into Michael's room, he has moved and it's no longer funny. This funniest is when, twice, we have walked in to check on him and realize that his hand was in his pants!! Both times when we came back with the camera he had finished his itch and rolled over as we were walking back into the room!! Pretty funny!
