First of all, here is our pumpkin that we decorated. I really wanted to do the traditional carving and gooey inside thing, but with the miscarriage and the D&C I had the day before Halloween, that didn't happen.
In the halloween package my mom sent up to us (Thanks Mom!!!) she sent these...I don't know what they're called...window cling things?? They seriously felt like gummy candy but they weren't edible...It was kind of wierd. But anyway, they were perfect for putting onto our pumpkin!! So we made three interesting faces and placed them on our pumpkin. Michael had a fun time and it was so easy! And they turned out pretty cute, too.
This was the freakiest one to me. It was kind of the left over pieces that we threw on...It reminds me of a wierd version of Pee Wee Hermon...
This was my favorite. So cute! After dinner we got Michael dressed in his costume and we were off! We decided to drop in on some random neighborhood since nothing was happening at our apartment complex and Michael had his first real Halloween exprience. I'm 100% convinced that I was more excited and giddy as we walked Michael up to his first EVER trick-or-treat door and knocked. I can't even begin to explain what I was feeling. I think I was shocked and amazed at how old and big Michael is getting and I have so many fond memories of trick-or-treating. It's fun to think that we're introducing Michael to this now and he can enjoy many more years of excitement! Maybe it's just that my little man is growing up and it's so fun to see all his firsts. Ahhhh...Anyway. Back to the post!
He's such a stud!!After we were finished Trick-or-Treating in the neighborhood we went to the local movie theater. They were doing a variation of a trunk-or-treat and had booths set up all around the lobby of the theater. It was really fun. Included in the theater is a bowling alley, and one of the activities allowed for three turns at bowling. It was really fun to do it with Michael and I'm really hoping we can go back and play a real game.

Well, if it makes you feel better, we never carved our pumpkins either- and I didn't have a good excuse like you did! I hope you are recovering okay and hanging in there. I love Michael's costume!
