UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, after how many months of my blog being behind, I am CAUGHT UP!!!!!!!!!

This is our life from the last 3 weeks. It's not that exciting, but there are some fun videos and pictures.

First off, here is why you should not put concentrated dish soap in your dishwasher. EVER! Not even a little bit!

It actually looked worse than it was. Nathan just got some big towels and soaked it all up, and then we let the dishwasher sit mid cycle until the bubbles were gone.

Egin (Hidden) Lake and the sand dunes
A few weeks ago we went to Egin Lakes and had a blast! It's a little lake right in the middle of the sand dunes. It's a perfect little place to families and not a lot of people know about it. It was seriously so fun!

The lake is so shallow! This is Michael and Nathan right in the middle, I think. So it's not very deep at all. It went up to Michael's waist. The water was cold, but it wasn't much worse than the ocean.
Xander and Michael loved playing in the sand and water! Mud bath anyone? After Egin Lakes we showed Michael some of the sand dunes. Nathan and Michael walked on a few steep dunes. After playing at Egin Lake we showed Michael some of the dunes. He and Nathan climbed to the top of a few.
Nathan and his two boys Nathan and his boys.Xander's Exploits Xander has discovered that there are drawers and cupboards that are full of all kinds of things! It's really fun. I don't mind it too much that he gets into stuff. I love watching him and seeing his mind work through what's going on in his world. He also loves the bathroom, our storage area under our stairs, and going outside. If he sees that any of those doors are open, he'll army crawl as fast as he can hoping for a few minutes in these no-play zones.
In order to barricade Xander into places, we've been putting chairs down so he couldn't crawl into areas that we didn't want him in. But, in the last few weeks he's figured out how to crawl through them.

On Friday September 17, 2010 I was feeding Xander when he put the bib in front of his face. I think he was telling me he was done and he wanted the darn thing off, but I just said peek-a-boo. He looked at me for a minute, and then put the bib in front of his face again. We went back and forth for probably 5 minutes. Of course, though, as soon as I turned the camera on he decided to just yell at me. But, it's still pretty funny.

See that personality!! He's full of it!
This next video was taken tonight after dinner. Xander has been blowing raspberries for a few weeks now, but tonight it turned into a game between him and Michael.

I love this age that Xander is at!! It's so fun to watch him and see his mind work! He's really grown a lot lately. Some of the things he's learned to do are to pull up to a stand on low objects (me when I'm on the floor, the stroller, the stairs--but not climbing yet, thank goodness!, bath tub, etc.), he can go from laying to sitting up, clapping, he understands "come here", "Where's ___", Michael, Dad, Mom?, and a lot more. He still only has 2 teeth and we've been thinking the others would make an appearance soon, but we're still waiting. We're also starting to do night sleep training. He's been waking up to eat 2-3 times a night, and that just has to stop! So our first night was last night and we're looking forward to a full night sleep! I can't remember what I looked like without bags under my eyes!

Michael giving birth?? Okay, now this was just hilarious!!!!! This was just this last Sunday night. That day we had spent our time at Nathan's aunt house in Utah, and she has kittens. Michael loves these kittens and spent a lot of the day playing with them. When we checked on him that night this is how we found him! I'm wondering if someone explained to him that the kittens used to be in their moms belly or something.
