Xander--6 MONTHS

It's so crazy that Xander will be 1 year old in just 6 months, and that 6 months has already passed. Time just keeps going faster and faster. So the other day I took some pictures. It's so hard to choose which pictures to put up. He's just so cute! I wish I was a professional or at least had a professional camera. It would be so fun, and these pictures would look so much better!

Xander is really becoming so fun! He's starting to interact so much more now. It's like each day he's doing more and watching more. It's so funny to watch him and Michael. Michael absolutely adores Xander. It's so fun to see him play with Xander every chance he gets. Of course, sometimes Michael is a bit too intense for Xander, but we're trying to teach Michael to be aware of the signs Xander is giving to say he's had enough. Slowly Michael is catching on. But Michael loves to jump around and do "tricks" and Xander will laugh and laugh at him! It's pretty fun. And there have been times when Xander has actually leaned forward to be closer to Michael.Xander has started to blow raspberries/bubbles. He loves to do it when he's mad or sitting up playing. But mainly when he's mad.Xander is now in 9-12 months clothes, and has been for a few weeks now!! I had him in an outfit today that Michael wore when he was 16 months old!! I love that he's so chunky! Xander is now a perfect sitter-upper. He will sit up without falling down for at least 15-20 minutes now! And when he's done sitting up, he will graciously fall down to be on his back.
Another new thing he's doing while he's on his tummy is starting to go in circles. He kicks his legs and moves his arms and body up and down, and before long he's facing a different direction than he was just 10 minutes before. Nathan is convinced he'll be crawling soon.

Xander has now outgrown his bathtub. Next bath will be in the big boy tub. I think Michael is pretty excited.
