First of all I have two more random pictures that I would like to include to insure I don't forget this stuff.
I LOVE our view of the temple from our apartment!! It's so gorgeous! This is looking out from our bedroom window and I thought some of you might like to see this view.
There's not much to update you all on, except that Michael is almost potty trained!!!! I want so bad to say that he's done, but I don't want to jinx myself!! He still doesn't really tell us when he has to go, but we might not be giving him the opportunity. I try to take him about every two hours. But it has been soo exciting for me!!!
We started about 3 weeks ago with pull ups occasionally and underwear most of the time. He was doing really well. He was peeing in the toilet really well and rarely had an accident but would always take the opportunity to poop in the pull up! It was soo frustrating! He would wait until the last minute and when we weren't watching him to sneak away and do his business. About a week ago we ran out of pull ups and we were inbetween paychecks, so we couldn't afford to go out and buy anymore. I was VERY apprehensive, but Nathan stuck to his guns and insisted that we do without pull ups and just do the undies.
I'm not too surprised, just relieved, that Michael has done exceptional! He pooped in his undies a few times and had a day this week were he was sick and had 5 accidents (YUCK!!!!) but we just cleaned him up and put him in new underwear. I think he learned from his accidents on Tuesday because yesterday and today he has gone to the bathroom everytime in the toilet!!!! He also goes to sleep for both naps and at night in his undies and doesn't have any accidents. We are also able to go out and about and he does great!! If he needs to go we just take him to a public toilet and he's just fine!
There have also been a few times where he has told me he needed to go or if we ask him he says yes. It's been such a great experience this time around!!! It's amazing the difference between this time and the first time we tried it about 4 months ago. It really is true, just wait until the CHILD is ready and it will go so much smoother!!
