Call For Recipes!!

Now that it's really starting to warm up around here (finally!) I'm wanting to start making some nice summery type meals but I'm afraid I don't really have any. So, I'm wondering if any of you bloggers out there have some recipes that you really enjoy, particularly during the hotter summer months.

I'm also looking for some recipes that don't reguire meat. It seems like every day we make dinner it includes a meat of some kind, but I'm getting kinda sick of meat or just looking for something different. Plus, our freezer isn't the biggest anymore, so we can't pack as much in.

So please! Leave me some recipes in the comments area or give me some links to some of your favorite food blogs and recipes. Thanks so much!

I recently found this blog http://www.picky-palate.com/
and I've been impressed, although they are not super healthy. I made this one http://www.picky-palate.com/2009/04/chicken-sausage-broccoli-and-parmesan.html and most of my kids liked it, but McKell doesn't eat anything :)

Amy! I have quite the collection of recipe's that I love. I don't cook them, my husband enjoys to do it so here are a few of my/his favorites:
www.smittenkitchen.com, the Cooking Light Cookbook (you can get it anywhere but its great food that's really healthy), and a personal favorite pizza from the cooking light cookbook without meat: http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=1157606 . Enjoy!

Pasta Salad:

~ Spiral pasta (I make about 4 cups) cooked according to package directions, drain and rinse in COLD water
~ Add any veggies you want to the pasta (we enjoy bell peppers (any color), cherry tomatoes, olives, carrots, broccoli... Make it colorful).
~ Add 1 1/2-2 cups Italian Dressing (we add just enough to coat everything to make it wet, so add enough to your liking).
~Chill in fridge until ready to serve (or serve immediately).

Great for summer, nice and cool, and if you want, you can add chicken for some protein!
