5 MONTHS?!?

Xander at 5 months old: 17 pounds, 6 ounces

I'm about to sound like a broken record, here, but I can't believe another month has passed us by and that Xander is 5 months old! I really love this age. In the past 2-3 weeks he's really taken off developmentally. He has started rolling over, playing with his feet, sitting up, and occasionally giving us little "talking to's", AKA babbling. He's just keeps getting funner and funner. I think we're going to start introducing solids soon, which is always fun!

Michael was "helping" with pictures. He was putting his teddy bear on Xander's head...don't ask why...we have no idea. Also, any position that we put Xander in, Michael would put his bear in that position too. He kept telling the bear to roll over or sit up. And then would pretend to take pictures of it. Too cute.

Another funny thing about Xander is that he gets very annoyed if something gets taken away from him. If he's playing with a toy or something and someone takes it from him (usually, but not always, it's Michael), he'll watch it leave with sad eyes and then start screaming until he can find something else to play with. It's a bit sad, but funny to see his personality shining through.
I could NOT get a picture of Xander without his fingers being in his mouth! This kid L-O-V-E-S his fingers!!!!! And he's a drooler! It's getting worse, and we're beginning to wonder if he could be teething soon. Michael was such an easy teether and I'm really hoping that Xander will be too.

Okay, I LOVE this video!!! It makes me laugh everytime I watch it. And Michael? Well, he watched it 9 times in a ROW! And everytime he would bust up laughing! I also think it's funny that you can hear him laughing at the end of it, too. Michael really is sympathetic to Xander, really!
