For his birthday we threw him a Star Wars party. His friends Kyler and Lyndee came over and we tried to play a few games (they weren't too interested, so we just played instead) and had cupcakes and ice cream. It was fun, small, and Michael had a really good time! I'm kinda mad at myself because I forgot to take pictures of some of the decorations. Here is a picture a few hours after the party was over. One of the streamers had fallen down and been put back up once, so it doesn't look that great, but you get the idea.
I found a party box at Walmart full of plates, cups, napkins, decorations, a game, and some party favor stuff for like 20 bucks, so it was a pretty good deal. It was really fun because Michael really enjoyed it. I decorated while he was gone with Nathan and when he walked in he said "Whoa, Mom!!!!" It was really fun. And Xander was funny, too. Each time I walked into our back room where all the decorations are, he would just stare at everything! It was funny.
Okay, now, don't laugh, here's the "cake" I made Michael. Now, can you guess what it is?
It's supposed to be a lightsaber cake. It's just cup cakes, but Michael knew what it was and loved it. That's what matters, right?
Here is Michael getting ready to blow out the candles. Doesn't it look like he's devouring those cupcakes in his mind!Us singing Happy Birthday
