Xanders Blessing

So, I still need to post pictures of Xander's blessing day, but for now here is the text of the blessing. I need to get the pictures off Nathan's computer at work and then I'll post them!

Our dear Heavenly Father, by the power of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, at this time we give this child a name. That name is Alexander Isaac Sunderland. Alexander at this time, we bless you with strength and courage that as you grow you will be able to find direction throughout your life. That as you grow in stature you might prepare yourself to serve in callings in the church, to serve a mission, to find a worthy companion and to serve your fellowman. Alexander you are blessed with an increased sensitivity to the spirit that you might speak with your Heavenly Father who will direct you on the path you need to go. Alexander I also bless you with health and strength and ability to make wise decisions. We also bless you with the knowledge that your Heavenly Father loves you very much. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
