The hair is yarn and the very voluptuous lips are nail polish. A marker would probably have been easier. Plus the one child who was at primary when I did this activity LOVED it!! It was so funny because he is a very shy, reserved little boy who rarely ever talked. As soon as he saw them his whole face lit up and he was all giggles for the full 20 minutes!
What I did was write the songs on paper, cut the strips out and folded them and placed them all in one ball. Then I thought of different ways to sing the song. Sitting down, standing up, girls only, etc. and cut out those strips and placed them in the other ball. Then when the child comes up I open the "mouth" and they dig in and find a slip. I really believe this was the best participation I received from this little boy in the whole year he's been in our primary!!

you are so great at your calling! You come up with the most creative things to do for singing time!! The kids love you I am sure of it!
Michael is getting so big and cute! He has come a long way with his talking too since we left. Fun pics and videos
What a fun idea. You must have the best sources!! I would have loved to see you use these at church! It pays to think outside the box!!
