Michael Has Learned To Pedal His Bike!!!!!!!!!

Michael has finally learned to pedal his bicycle!! We're so excited for him! He started a few weeks ago and it caught me by complete surprise. I have been trying to teach him and get him to do it for months now, but he's almost sooo stubborn that he absolutely refused to even try. Then one day we were going home and I was walking in front of him. I turned around to see what he was doing and he was PEDALING!! I immediately started praising him and he immediately STOPPED!! I quickly learned that if I want him to pedal his bike home, I can NOT be looking at him and I can NOT talk to him. Otherwise, he will NOT pedal and will only walk his bike where he is going. OH! And he will also only pedal on the way home...

Here he is actually pedaling. He can do really well. The only time he struggles is when he turning. His legs just aren't quite long enough to turn the wheel and still reach the pedal. And he struggles with the wiggliness of the pedals. But otherwise, he's doing really well. It's really exciting to see him growing and learning new things!!
