So imagine my excitement (and continuing excitement) when I realized that it was not dying!!!! So I had to take a picture of them to keep as a memory!!
These flowers used to look a LOT better too, but after surviving Michael's attempts at planting his own flowers in the MIDDLE of mine, they are kind of droopy and not nearly as pretty...oh well. At least they're still blooming!!!!
Here's a picture of my Mother's Day Flowers
I absolutely love my job and it has soo many benefits!!! I am soo glad for the opportunity to work these families and I really become attatched to them. Working here in Rexburg has it's draw backs though, and that's because every semester I have about 3 families that move!!! It's always really sad, but it's a part of Rexburg. Change, always change!!! The flower below came from one of my favorite families, the Withers. She was soo sweet to think of me and get me a flower! I was so touched and it was so hard to leave that last appointment.
I love this flower, but I just can't seem to keep it alive!! I'm hoping it's just because of the type of flower it is, but I don't know. The petals are falling off and it's so sad to me. I'm thinking it was a good thing the Elder's Quorum got the flowers they did. I think they're indestructable!!!
