I Love A Good Bargain!!!!!

Yesterday I went to K-Mart with Michael and I walked by the clothes section. It's always so much nicer and funner to shop at K-Mart becuase they actually sell boy clothes! And a good selection of them, too. At Walmart it's just girl's clothes! Seriously, there might be one row or aisle for boys of ALL ages and about 10 for girls. It's very frustrating. Anyway, that's a whole blog post...So I was looking at the clothes not really thinking of actually purchasing anything until the saw these shirts:

(in case you can't tell, the white one says "When God created me he was just showing off." The blue one says "Cool without trying. When you've got it, you've got it!" The other shirt matches perfectly with his swim suit!)

I saw the white one first and loved it! Then I realized the shirts were on sale 2 for $8.00 (one shirt was 5.99) and I had to get that deal!! So I saw the blue one and it was the next best shirt available. Later I saw the other shirt and it was on sale for only 2 bucks!!! I had to get them! And then to top it all off, they came up cheaper at the register!! It was great!!!

It's so fun, he's actually starting to smile when I tell him to when he sees the camera. Our camera takes so long to take a picture, though, that by the time it gets around to taking it, Michael's smile is almost gone...So you get this wierd kind of a smile, kind of just an open mouth thing going on becuase he's also saying "cheese". It's pretty cute, though! I sure do love him!

He is also getting very big. It always comes as such a shock to me when I realize he grew again! Yesterday I was going to pat his head, and I realized that I didn't have to extend my arm all the way down to reach him!!! That may sound very wierd, but he's getting taller!! He's about half way up my thigh and I swear he was shorter than that a few days ago!!!! It's fun though watching him get older and become more mature.

Earlier today we had somewhat of a tea party. It wasn't really, but he had a jug that was empty and got some cups and brought them into the living room where I was working. Then he came up next to me, proceeded to "fill them up" and then gave the cup to me. I acted like I was drinking it and then handed it back to him. We did that for seriously 10 minutes!!! And he would get mad at me if I didn't immediately take a "drink" or hand the cup back to him.

He's also becoming more and more independent! I know this is normal and good to see, but oh is it difficult to deal with!!!!!!!!! He's insisting on putting his DIAPER on all my himself (of course I have to fix it, which just TICKS HIM OFF!!!) he has to help put diaper rash cream on his bum, pour drinks all by himself, get into his carseat with no help, and so many more things. Everything that you would expect from a two year old, he's doing.

Tt's great to see of course, but I sure wish I could just hand him off to someone those days!!!!!
