Pre School Pictures

Michael had soooo much fun at his preschool this last Winter semester! He absolutely loved it and we are so grateful that he had the chance to go. It was a great experience and I'm so grateful that BYU-Idaho has implemented this program. Basically, it's a training/teaching preschool. The teachers are actual students at the college and teaching in the preschool is part of the requirement for graduation. It is an actual class for them and they meet weekly in a classroom and learn about better ways to teach the children. We are all very sad he didn't have the opportunity to go this semester, but we are hoping for next semester.
This is just before we left for his last day of preschool

Walking into the building all by himself
There class name was the "beach bums". This is him in front of the poster on the door.

On the last day of class they allowed the parents to come in for the last 15 minutes for circle time. Michael was soo excited to see me and Nathan. He just ran right over and gave me the biggest hug! He hung onto me the whole time I was there. It was very cute and funny. It made me laugh because he had never really done that before.
This is always the highlight of the day! This is circle time and in the biggening each time they welcome each of the kids individually. They have a picture of each child and they pull them out one by one and ask "who is this?" Then the child jumps up, pats their chest, and says "ME!!!" and then put it onto the board. They all get very excited and it's a fun thing for them. Michael is not an exception! After his turn, he usually wants to stay up there and put each picture up for the rest of the kids. This is a picture of him doing just that. Also, for the first time he said Me! when they asked! It was very exciting for the other teachers.

Here he is running back to me after his turn with the picture. I love his tongue! It's always out!

Wow! I can't believe he is in preschool already. Last time I saw him he was still crawling and small. I love it that he still has that same cute look on his face!
